Prime Bank Ltd., Airtel and Dipon Consultancy Services Ltd. have recently signed a tripartite agreement for recharge and collection of airtel mobile bills through Prime Cash Card. Through this agreement Prime Cash cardholders will avail the facility to recharge Airtel Pre-paid balance and make payment of post-paid bills.
During the signing Mr. Md. Tabarak Hossain Bhuiyan, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Emerging Market of Prime Bank Limited, Ms. Rubaba Dowla, CSO & Head of m-commerce of Airtel and Mr. Syed Javed Iqbal, Director of Dipon Consultancy Services Ltd. were present. Apart from the above officials Mr. Kazi Mahmood Karim, SEVP and Head of Retail & SME, Mr. Sahauddin Ahmed, SVP & Head of Alternative Delivery Channel Division of Prime Bank Limited; Ms. Nilutpola Sharma, Head of Service Experience, Sheikh Sazzad Salam, Manager, Collection & Retention of Airtel and Mr. Fakhrul Islam, COO of Dipon Consultancy Services Ltd. were also present on this occasion.
Prime Bank already launched ‘Prime Cash’, the first time ever biometric smart card based banking services in Bangladesh, eyeing more secured banking, predominantly targeting unbanked and uneducated people. Prime Bank has also been enhancing its banking services with the demand of time. Prime Cash card holders are enjoying a host of banking services like opening of accounts, deposit/ withdraw cash, fund transfer as well as foreign remittance services. Mobile balance recharge/ bill payment brings a new window for the card holders where they may recharge/pay bill directly from bank account.
