Dipon Consultancy Services Ltd. (DCSL), a leading technology company of Bangladesh, as a part of Dipon Group’s ongoing efforts to expand banking services availability all over the country, announces the signing of an agreement with Buro Bangladesh, a leading NGO in Bangladesh. Under this agreement, Buro Bangladesh with its 250 branches will act as a corporate agent of Dipon Group to offer Prime Cash Services throughout Bangladesh.
Mr. Shafquat Matin, Director of DCSL, and Mr. Zakir Hossain Executive Director of Buro Bangladesh signed the agreement on their companies’ behalf at a ceremony held on December 23, 2013. The deal aims to introduce basic banking facilities such as disbursement of remittance, money transfer, cash deposit, withdrawal, account opening, DPS, Mobile Top-up, etc. across the country.
Mr. Syed Javed Iqbal (Director), Shah Hasibur Rahman (Manager-Business Development) of DCSL and M. Mosharrof Hossain, Finance Director, Md. Sirajul Islam, Special Program Director, Md. Mukitul Islam, Operation Director, Khandaker Mahfuzur Rahman, Risk Management and Internal Audit Director, Pranesh Chandra Banik, Special Program Deputy Director of Buro Bangladesh were present during the signing ceremony.
Prime Cash, a biometric smart card-based virtual wallet account, has been designed to address the banking needs of the un-banked rural and urban people of the country. Prime Cash users will now be able to avail the banking services at Buro Bangladesh with reliability and safety. Prime Cash is a product of Prime Bank Limited – the leading commercial bank in the private sector of the county.
